What health insurance do you need for a student visa in Spain?
For a study stay longer than 90 days, the consulate or immigration office usually requires health insurance with comprehensive medical coverage. Travel insurance is different. It is designed for short trips and usually covers emergencies up to a financial limit. Health insurance such as DKV Visado de Estudios gives you access to doctors, specialists, tests, hospitalization and surgery during your stay, without co-payments. How to take out your insurance before travelling to Spain
What you need: your passport, your educational institution's admission or enrolment certificate (where applicable), the Spanish province where you will study and your stay dates. You do not need a NIE.- Calculate your price or message me on WhatsApp with your dates.
- Send me a copy of your passport and your institution's certificate.
- I review the details and prepare your insurance application.
- Sign the documents and make the single payment using an available payment method.
- Receive the policy documents and the certificate for your application.

Requirements may vary by programme, nationality, stay duration and procedure.
